Despite the global credit crunch, justteachers is bucking the trend of financial cut backs by announcing that it intends to extend its unique ‘free flights offer’ to Australian teachers looking to work in the UK. Believed to be the first teacher recruitment agency in the UK to offer such a scheme, justteachers is extending its free flight offer to Australian teachers. International Manager of justteachers, Paul Willis explained that the free flight offer had been extended in light of the global credit crisis to 
ease the financial cost for Australian teachers to come to the UK. Another Australian teacher got more than she bargained for when she came to the UK to teach, she also secured a husband-to-be! Brisbane teacher Rebecca Taylor is currently teaching English at a top school in the North of England where she met and got engaged to science teacher Michael. She said: “The free flights scheme gave me the opportunity to start the new leg of a great adventure. Since coming to the UK, I have got engaged, met lots of friends including hooking up with several fellow Aussies and had lots of trips across Europe.
