justteachers are currently looking for experienced SEN Teachers and Learning Support Assistants who are trained PECS and/or Makaton to work within our Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in Coventry. PECS & Makaton qualifications are desirable but not essential. You must have experience working on a one-to-one basis with children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and children who find it difficult to work within the mainstream class.You will be involved in implementing strategies and supporting pupils in self-esteem and confidence-building activities, advising parents on effective behaviour strategies and liaising with other appropriate professionals e.g. social workers.
